My 10 favourite mani's of 2010

Can't believe tomorrow evening we're celebrating the new year already! Ths year flew by ridiculously fast!
I've seen a few 'Best of 2010'-lists on some blogs and that gave me the idea of making a list of my 10 favourite mani's of 2010. 
Ofcourse I liked most of my mani's this year, I wouldn't do a complete manicure with a polish I don't like, but I had the most fun with the 10 listed below.

Ik kan haast niet geloven dat we morgenavond alweer het nieuwe jaar vieren! Dit jaar is echt idioot snel voorbij gevlogen!
Op sommige blogs heb ik al 'Best of 2010'-lijstjes gezien en dat gaf me het idee om mijn eigen lijstje te maken met mijn eigen 10 favoriete mani's van 2010.
Natuurlijk vond ik vrijwel al mijn mani's van dit jaar leuk, ik doe geen volledige mani met een lak die ik niet mooi vind, maar van de onderstaande 10 mani's heb ik het meeste lol gehad.

10: Claire's Happy/Earthy

Not the prettiest polish of this year, chipped like crazy, but very unusual and made me smile the day I wore it.!

Niet de mooiste lak, ook niet van de beste kwaliteit, maar wel erg bijzonder en ik moest ervan lachen de dag dat ik het droeg!

9: China Glaze - Thunderbird + Konad

Wore this for almost a week, I really liked the look and I was so proud of the Konad that worked out as I hoped.

Deze heb ik vrijwel een week gedragen, het stond echt heel leuk en ik was zo trots op hoe de Konad gelukt was.

8: Models Own - Feeling Blue

Wore this in the summer, it looked zo bright, exaxtly like the sky on a really sunny day

Deze droeg ik in de zomer, spetterende kleur, precies als de lucht op een prachtige dag

7: OPI - Mad as a Hatter

There are a few reasons why I like this: Glitter, OPI, Tim Burton...and it looks just great on it's own and layered.

Er zijn een paar redenen waarom ik deze leuk vind: Glitter, OPI, Tim Burton...en het ziet er gewoon superleuk uit met of zonder nagellak eronder.

6: OPI : The 'It' Color

This is such an unusual yellow, but in a good way, really liked this mani.

Got alot of compliments on the color too!

Dit is echt een ongebruikelijke kleur geel, maar op de goede manier, ik vond dit echt een mooie mani.

Kreeg er ook nog een boel complimentjes over ook!

5: Nfu Oh #45

Ofcourse everything Nfu Oh makes is amazing and looks great and this polish is no exception, the color is gorgeous and the flakies are pretty.

But it's in my top 10 because it was a surprise from my Love ( aka Eppie )

Natuurlijk is alles dat Nfu Oh maakt even geweldig en het ziet er allemaal even prachtig uit, deze lak is geen uitzondering daarop, de kleur is fantastisch en de flakies zijn mooi.

Maar deze lak staat in mijn top 10 omdat het een verrassing was van mijn Lief ( Eppie )

4: Isadora Graffiti Nails Black Tag with China Glaze Holographic Topcoat

It was so much fun to wear this!!! I can't wait 'till the China Glaze graffiti-collection comes out in 2011.

Het was zo leuk om dit te dragen!!! Ik kan niet wachten tot de China Glaze Graffiti Collectie in 2011 uitkomt.

3: Zoya - Charla

Charla is a combination of a lot of things I really really like: a deep blue-green color with blue, green and golden glassfleck, very sparkly. What's not to love.

Charla is een combinatie van een boel dingen die ik echt heel heel leuk vind: een diepe blauw-groene kleur met blauwe, groene en gouden glassfleck, het glimt een heleboel. Ik hou van deze lak.

2: OPI - The Show Must Go On!

This color surprised me the most this year. Before I had it on my nails I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. The color is so gorgeous in real life, the duochrome shows really well and it's very sparkly. Couldn't stop looking at it while I wore it!

Deze kleur heeft me het meest verrast dit jaar. Voordat ik het op mn nagels zag, had ik niet verwacht dat ik 'm zo mooi zou vinden. De kleur is zo prachtig in het echt, de duochrome valt erg op en het is ook nog heel erg glimmend. Ik kon ook weer niet stoppen naar mijn nagels te kijken!

1: Hema #82 + China Glaze -Solar Flare

This beautiful light green polish with a hint of blue + the large golden glitter were THE best combination I had on my nails the past year. I absolutely adored this mani and I wore it on a very sunny beautiful day when Eppie and I celebrated our first year together. So everything about this mani makes me smile.

Deze geweldige licht groene lak met een beetje blauw erin + de grote gouden glitters was DE beste combinatie die ik dit jaar op mijn nagels heb gehad. Ik was echt gek op deze mani en droeg het op een prachtige zonnige dag toen Eppie en ik een jaar samen waren. Dus alles aan deze lak is een reden voor mij om blij van te worden.

December Glitter #9: A purple/silver glitter Comparison with RBL Frugalista and OPI Show it and Glow it!

I love coloured glitters very much and I've gathered quite a few over time. When I received OPI's Show it and glow it! (the '!' belongs in the title ) I immediately grabbed my bottle of Rescue Beauty Lounge Frugalista to see how they compared.

Ik hou heel erg van gekleurde glitters en in de loop van de tijd heb ik er al een boel verzameld. Toen ik OPI's Show it and glow it! ontving( die '!' hoort in de titel ), heb ik gelijk mijn flesje Rescue Beauty Lounge Frugalista erbij gepakt om ze met elkaar te vergelijken.

As you can see, they have some similarities: both have purple and silver glitter in them and a clear base.
So I was not totally crazy to think they would be similar

Zoals je kunt zien hebben ze wel wat overeenkomsten: in beide zitten paarse en zilveren glitters en ze hebben een transparante basis.
Dus ik was niet helemaal gek dat ik dacht dat ze vergelijkbaar zouden zijn.

But if you look closer there are more differences then similarities between the two.
Frugalista has two colors: purple and silver and looks lighter and more sparkly because there is much more silver in it.
Show it and glow it! has much more purple glitter in it and also some silver, yellow, red, blue and green glitter.

Als je beter kijkt dan zie je dat er meer verschillen zijn overeenkomsten tussen deze twee lakken.
Frugalista heeft twee kleuren: paars en zilver en ziet er lichter en glimmender uit doordat er meer zilver in zit.
Show it and glow it! heeft veel meer paars erin en daarnaast ook wat zilver, geel, rood, blauw en groene glitter.

On this close-up (above) you can really see the difference best. And you can see how pretty they both are!
Frugalista has square glitter, Show it and glow it! has round glitter
I used 3 coats Frugalista and stille have some visible nail, but not much.
Show it and glow it! is much more opaque, this is just 2 coats of SIAGI and no visible nail!

Op deze close-up (boven) zie je echt de verschillen goed. En je kan goed zien hoe mooi ze allebei zijn!
Frugalista heeft vierkante glitters, Show it and glow it! heeft ronde glitters.
Ik heb 3 lagen Frugalista op en je kan nog steeds wat nagel er doorheen zien, maar niet veel.
Show it and glow it! is veel dekkender, dit zijn slechts twee lagen en je ziet er geen nagel doorheen.

I can't choose a favourite and they are very different, so I'm happy I own both of them!
Ik kan geen favoriet kiezen en ze zijn erg verschillend, dus ik ben blij dat ik ze allebei heb!
