China Glaze - Frostbite + konad; a starry starry mani.

Spring is in the air, sun is shining, temperature is rising slowly and I present to you: Frostbite, a lovely polish from the China Glaze 2007 Ski Collection.
I know I should start posting springshades now, but I'm not ready for those yet.

Lente hangt in de lucht, de zon schijnt, de temperatuur wordt zo langzamerhand een stuk fijner en dan heb ik voor jullie: Frostbite, een mooie lak uit de China Glaze 2007 Ski Collectie.
Ik weet dat ik nu lentekleurtjes zou moeten laten zien, maar daar heb ik nog geen zin in.

Color
Very bright blue with a subtle silver shimmer. A real eyecatcher. Got alot of compliments about this polish too!

Kleur
Erg fel blauw met een subtiele zilveren shimmer erin. Zeer opvallend. Kreeg ook een heleboel complimentjes over deze kleur!

Application
Great, this is three coats, but I could have easily done two. It's a little bit thin, but builds up great! No streeks, so it's not really a frost. That's a good thing for me, because I hate frosts.

Applicatie
Geweldig, dit zijn drie laagjes, maar ik had prima kunnen stoppen bij twee. Het is een beetje dun, maar het dekt prima met meerdere lagen. Geen strepen, dus het is niet echt een frost finish. Daar ben ik blij om, want ik heb echt een hekel aan frosts.

I wore this mani for almost a week and also when my boyfriends sister celebrated her birthday in the Hardrock Cafe Amsterdam. I wish I would have thought about that before so I could have added some red stars also. That would have looked very American! But even without the red stars, the mani matched perfectly with the huge beers and burgers!

Deze mani droeg ik bijna een week en ook toen het zusje van mijn Lief haar verjaardag vierde in het Hard Rock Cafe in Amsterdam. Ik wilde dat ik daar eerder aan gedacht had zodat ik er wat extra rode sterren ussen had kunnen stempelen. Dat zou er erg Amerikaans uit hebben gezien! Maar ook zonder rode sterren paste de lak prima bij de grote glazen bier en de burgers!
