Nailmail. My Latest Apothica Order!

Recently I got these lovelies in the mail. I haven't swatched any of these gorgeous polishes yet, so in stead you get some bottleshots of my Apothica order.

Nog niet zo lang geleden kwamen deze met de post. Ik heb nog niet één van deze mooie lakjes geswatched, maar in plaats daarvan krijg je wat foto's van de flesjes van deze Apothica bestelling.

I got 4 full size SpaRitual polishes, 2 mini SpaRitual bottles and an Essie.

 Look at these gorgeous polishes, I was so surprised to see they looked even better in real life then they did online.

Kijk eens zo mooi ze zijn, ik was blij verbaasd om te zien dat ze er in het echt mooier uitzien dan online.

 The mini bottles don't look that small on these pictures, but 5 ml really isn't much. But if you own alot of polishes and only get to wear most of them once or twice, then it's a perfect way to try a new polish.

The mini flesjes lijken niet zo klein op deze foto, maar 5 ml is echt niet veel. Als je veel lakjes heb en de meeste ervan maar één of twee keer draagt, dan is het een goede manier om een nieuw lakje te proberen.

SpaRitual Shooting Star was the biggest surprise of this order, despite it being a mini bottle. I actually regret not getting a full size.

SpaRitual Shooting Star was de grootste verrassing van deze order, ondanks dat het een mini flesje is. Ik heb zelfs een beetje spijt dat ik hier geen groot flesje van heb besteld.

SpaRitual Rhythm of Life is a gorgeous teal, you can never own to many teals.

SpaRitual Rhythm of Life is een prachtige blauwgroene lak, daar kan je er nooit genoeg van hebben.

SpaRitual Fickle, I really want to try this one on. I'm very curious how this looks on my nails. I usually don't like silvery / frosty polishes, but I'm somehow drawn to this one.

SpaRitual Fickle, deze wil ik echt snel proberen. Ik ben erg benieuwd hoe dit er op mijn nagels uitziet. Meestal geeft ik niks om zilveren of ijzige lakjes, maar iets in dit lakje trekt me aan.

SpaRitual Sacred Ground. This is amazing, I have never seen anything like this.

SpaRitual sacred Ground. Dit is echt prachtig, ik heb nog nooit zoiets gezien.

SpaRitual Strength. This one has multiple dupes: Zoya Faye and OPI It's my Year. I don't own those, so I'm happy to own Strength.

SpaRitual Strength. Deze lak heeft meerdere dupes: Zoya Faye en OPI It's my Year. Ik heb die allebei niet, dus ik ben heel blij met Strength.

SpaRitual Knowledge. Pink and holographic glitter. Can't wait untill summer, I guess this will be amazing in sunlight.

SpaRitual Knowledge. Roze en holografische glitter. Ik kan niet wachten tot het zomer is, volgens mij ziet dit er geweldig uit in de zon.

Essie Van D'Go. Not at all what I expected, I thought it would be more coral, I guess I should have done better research before ordering.

Essie Van D'Go. helemaal niet wat ik verwacht had, ik dacht dat het meer koraal zou zijn, ik had wat beter onderzoek moeten doen voordat ik bestelde.

SpaRitual - Lustress

I love my polishaddiction, but the worst thing about it is my huge drawer filled with untrieds. There are some real gems in there that are waiting for months, sometimes years to be worn or swatched. This is one of those gems that I found in that drawer that has been waiting there for almost half a year to be swatched.

Ik hou van mn nagellak verslaving, mar het nadeel is mijn grote lade vol met ongeprobeerde lakjes. Er zitten echt wat juweeltjes in die la die daar maanden of soms jaren wachten om gedragen of geswatched te worden. Dit is één van die juweeltjes die ik in die lade vond en er zeker al een half jaar heeft staan wachten om geswatched te worden.

Color
Light metallic red. On these pictures (who are quite coloraccurate) the color seems bright, but it's less bright and very cool-toned in real life. It's a very wearable red that might look better on someone with a lighter skin.

Kleur
Licht metallic rood. Op deze foto's ( die best kleur echt zijn ) lijkt de kleur vrij fel, maar het is minder fel en een koelere kleur als je 'm in het echt ziet. Hele draagbare rood die vast beter staat bij iemand die een paar huidkleurtjes lichter is.

Application
Great, no streeks, nice brush, two coats for perfect coverage.
Oh and it's ofcoarse a completely vegan product!

Applicatie
Super, geen stepen, fijn borsteltje, perfecte dekking in twee laagjes.
Oh en het is een volledig veganistisch product!

SpaRitual - Emerald City

Last week I did the Nail Polish Bloggers challenge, I posted every day that week, so this week I took a small break from posting. Today after work I went to the gym, showered, had leftover dinner and now I'm totally relaxed in my home-pants on the couch with a glass of port. Perfect time to write a my first blogpost of this week.

Vorige week heb ik de Nail Polish Bloggers challenge gedaan, daarvoor heb ik iedere dag gepost, deze week heb ik dus een kleine pauze gehouden van het bloggen. Vandaag na het werk heb ik mezelf afgebeuld in de sportschool, gedouched, kliekjes gegeten en nu zit ik met een glaasje port op de bank. Prima tijd om mn eerste blogpost van de week te maken.

Color
Turquoise, more green than blue, very pretty.

Kleur
Turkooise, meer groen dan blauw, heel mooi.

Application
It's a jelly, so it needed 4 coats for complete opacity. Other than that it applied like a dream, despite the awful mini brush that comes with the mini bottle.

Applicatie
Het is een jelly, dus ik had echt 4 lagen nodig voor complete dekking. Verder was het een heerlijk lakje om op te doen, ondanks het ieniemini kwastje dat hoort bij dit mini flesje

SpaRitual - It's Raining Men ( if the men are as gorgeous as this polish...then let it pour!!!! )

This is the first SpaRitual nailpolish I ever tried. SpaRitual products are made out of vegan and organic material, it's not tested on animals, the packaging is made of eco-friendly products and the polishes are 'big three free'.
Maybe if you read that you would think these vegan, eco-friendly polishes look boring, but SpaRitual makes some exciting polishes in a wide range of colors and finishes. So you can look good while taking care of our planet!

Dit is de eerste SpaRitual die ik ooit geprobeerd heb. SpaRitual producten zijn gemaakt van veganistische en organische producten, het is niet getest op dieren, de verpakkingsmaterialen zijn natuurvriendelijk en de lakken zijn 'big three free' ( klik link voor NL uitleg ).
Misschien als je bovenstaande gelezen hebt denk je dat deze veganistische, natuurvriendelijke lakken er saai uit zullen zien, maar SpaRitual maakt spannende kleurtjes in een heleboel verschillende finishes. Dus je kan er goed uitzien terwijl je toch goed zorgt voor het milieu!

Color
Wow, It's Raining Men is a gorgeous silvery light blue polish with a golden/pink duochrome. Sometimes it flashes gold, but mostly pink. Words can't accurately descibe this fascinating color. And pictures don't do it justice, but believe me, this is a stunner.

Kleur
Wauw, It's Raining Men is een prachtige zilverachtige licht blauwe lak met een goud/roze duochrome. Soms zie je ook een mooie gouden glans, maar meestal is de glans roze. Er zijn echt geen woorden om deze kleur goed te beschrijven. En de foto's doen deze lak ook al geen recht, maar geloof me, dit is echt een top lakje.

Application
The polish is a bit sheer, but builds up nicely. I did three rather thick coats and had a little VNL showing, but not much. This polish dries quickly. The brush was perfect for me, it allowed me to paint on the nail and not on my cuticles. Another plus for SpaRitual.

Applicatie
De lak is een beetje dun, maar dekt prima met meerdere laagjes. Ik heb 3 vrij dikke lagen gebruikt en er was nog een beetje nagel doorheen te zien, maar niet zo erg. De 3 laagjes droogden vrij snel. Het borsteltje werkte voor mij ook erg fijn, ik kon mn nagels keurig lakken en verfde niet gelijk alle nagelriemen mee. Nog een plus voor SpaRitual

If you see some tiny bubbles in this mani, that's entirely my own fault! I was so excited to try this polish that I layered each of the 3 coats directly over the other. If I had been a bit more patient and waited a minute in between coats there wouldn't have been a single bubble. Ahwell, IRL it was nearly visible, only the macroshot shows it.

Als je een paar hele kleine bubbeltjes ziet in deze mani dan is dat volledig mijn eigen schuld! Ik verheugde me echt op het dragen van deze lak en heb alle 3 lagen lak direct na elkaar erop gegooid. Als ik een klein beetje meer geduld had en een paar minuutjes had gewacht tussen de laagjes door dan was dit een hele strakke mani geweest. Ach ja, in het echt zag je het vrijwel niet, alleen die macroshot laat het zien.

While writing this post I decided to layer 2 coats of this polish over my light blue What's With The Cattitude mani that I'm wearing since Tuesday and it looks spectacular!
I also think this polish looks nice with jeans, don't ask me why, but it does!
My first experience with SpaRitual is great! Can't wait to try my other 3 SpaRituals that I bought at Apothica!

Terwijl ik deze post schrijf besloot ik 2 laagjes van deze lak over mijn huidige licht blauwe What's With The Cattitude mani heen te doen die ik al sinds dinsdag draag. En wat denk je, het ziet er spectaculair uit!
En ik vind deze lak ook zo goed bij jeans passen, vraag me niet waarom, maar het staat gewoon goed bij elkaar!
Mijn eerste ervaring met SpaRitual is echt super! Ik kan niet wachten om de andere 3 SpaRitual lakjes te proberen die ik bij Apothica gekocht heb!

Wooohooo! My first Apothica order arrived :-)

A week ago I placed my first order at Apothica.com, I chose the brands SpaRitual and Essie as I don't have any of those brands in my stash but I always wanted them ánd because the polishes I chose are shipped worldwide. I almost hugged the FedEx boy for bringing them so fast. The polishes are so much better in real life than they looked on the website, I couldn't resist taking some bottleshots to show you.

Een week geleden heb ik mijn eerste bestelling geplaatst bij Apothica.com, ik heb daarbij gekozen voor de merken Essie en SpaRitual omdat ik daar nog niet van heb, maar wel heel graag wilde hebben én omdat deze uitgekozen lakjes over de hele wereld verzonden worden. Ik heb de jongen van FedEx bijna geknuffeld omdat hij de lakjes al zo snel bezorgde. De lakjes zelf zijn veel mooier in het echt dan op de website, dus ik kon mezelf niet inhouden en heb wat foto's van de flesjes gemaakt om aan jullie te laten zien.

Isn't this a colorful summery bunch of polishes? I immediately removed the mani I was wearing ( Zoya Rica, OMG too pretty, pics coming up soon ) and tried them all on. Unfortunately I painted way too messy to make pictures of it. So below two pictures on which you can get a closer look at these bottles.

Is dit nou niet een lekker kleurig zomers zooitje lakjes? Ik heb gelijk de mani die droeg eraf gehaald ( Zoya Rica, OMG zooo mooi, foto's volgen later ) en toen heb ik ze allemaal uitgeprobeerd. Helaas heb ik toen veel te slordig gelakt dus daar heb ik maar geen foto's van gemaakt. Daarom hieronder nog twee fotootjes waarop je de flesjes van wat dichterbij kan zien.
