Color Club - Magic Attraction

We didn't have much sun this summer, but when there was some bright sunlight I decided to finally swatch this gorgeous glitter polish that I own for almost two years now. It's a stunning polish that I wore only once, but it deserves to be seen!

We hebben weinig zon gehad deze zomer, maar toen er wat fel zonlicht was heb ik eindelijk deze prachtige glitterlak geswatched die ik nu echt al bijna 2 jaar heb. Het is een mooi opvallend lakje die ik eigenlijk nooit draag, maar hij verdient het wel om gezien te worden!

Color
Extremely dense holographic glitter in a clear base. The glitter seems silver, but if you compare it to a real silver color you can see that this is more lilac. It was impossible to capture how incredible this looks in the sun, the glitter is very holographic and sparkly!

Kleur
Heel veel holografische glitters in een kleurloze basislak. De glitters lijken zilver, maar vergeleken met een zilveren kleur zie je dat dit meer lila is. Het was onmogelijk om met de camera vast te leggen hoe waanzinnig dit eruit ziet in de zin, het is bijna overdreven holografisch en glitterend!

Application
This polish is very thick and can be tricky to apply, there is almost too much glitter in it...almost, because there is ofcourse no such thing as too much glitter. Duhh ;-)
It's a onecoater, but I did two because on the tip of my nails there were a few tiny bald spots, not many though.

Applicatie
Deze lak is erg dik en kan lastig zijn om op te brengen, er is bijna te veel glitter in de lak...bijna, want natuurlijk bestaat er niet iets als te veel glitter. Duhh ;-)
Het dekt in één laag, maar ik deed er twee omdat ik op de puntjes van mn nagels een paar hele kleine lege stukjes had.

This polish chips like crazy, within a day big cunks are falling off, so eventhough it's opaque in one coat, I advise you to layer it over a good long lasting matching color to get a better wear. If you do that it will prolong the wear alot.
 
Deze lak chipt als een gek, binnen een dag liggen de stukken eraf, dus ook al dekt de lak in één laag, Ik adviseer toch om er een goede langhoudende nagellak te dragen die er een beetje bij kleurt. Als je dat doet dan kan je deze lak veel langer dragen.

China Glaze - Techno Teal (DV8's pretty older sister )

Were you all as excited as I was at the beginning of this year when you heard that China Glaze was making another holographic collection called Tronica? I bet most of you were. And were you also as disappointed as I was when you saw the first Tronica swatches? I best most of you were too. It's not that the colors aren't nice, but they look so much like the colors from the OMG collection, without the stong holo. As much as I adore that collection, I wanted to see some new colors. Despite that I bought Techno Teal (as understudy for DV8), and that's the one I'm showing you today!

Waren jullie ook zo enthousiast begin dit jaar toen China Glaze bekend maakte dat ze een nieuwe holografische collectie Tronica gingen uitbrengen? Ik denk dat de meeste van jullie dat ook waren. En waren jullie ook zo teleurgesteld toen jullie de eerste swatches van Tronica zagen? Ik denk dat jullie dat ook wel waren. Het is niet dat het geen leuke kleuren zijn, maar ze lijken gewoon erg veel op de kleuren uit de OMG collectie, zonder de felle holo. Ondanks dat ik dat een tegekke collectie vond, wilde ik nu wel wat nieuwe kleuren zien. Ondanks dat wilde ik wel Techno Teal van Tronica (als vervanger voor DV8) en dat is degene die ik je vandaag laat zien!

Color
Blue teal with subtle holo. Teal must be my fav color and this one is perfect. Looks like DV8's older sister, equally pretty but a little less flashy.

Kleur
Blauwe turkoois met subtiele holo. Blauw turkoois is waarschijnlijk wel mijn favoriete kleur en deze is echt perfect. Ze lijkt op het oudere zusje van DV8, net zo mooi, maar iets minder opvallend.

Application
Onecoater! I actually thinned it a bit because it was too thick, but once that was solved this applies like a dream. One coat. Love it.

Applicatie
Eén laagje! Ik heb de lak wel wat verdund omdat het te dik was, maar als je dat hebt opgelost lakt dit helemaal geweldig. Eén laag. Ik hou ervan.

 I'm disappointed in China Glaze for being little creative in choosing colors for this collection and 'stealing' colors from a previous collection. But I'm also glad I have an understudy for DV8, I can use Techno Teal now so I can save my last bit of DV8 for special occasions.

Ik ben echt teleurgesteld in China Glaze dat ze zo weinig creatief zijn geweest met het kiezen van kleuren voor deze collectie en dat ze kleuren hebben 'gestolen' van een vorige collectie. Maar ik ben ook wel blij dat ik nu een vervanger heb voor DV8, nu gebruik ik Techno Teal meestal zodat ik mn laatste restje DV8 kan bewaren voor meer speciale gelegenheden.

China Glaze - It's My Turn ( from the Kaleidoscope collection )

Before I had my blog, I used to own all the Kaleidoscope polishes but two. I gave away some of them because the colors didn't look good on me. I thought about giving away It's My Turn because it is not bright enough for me, but it looked so nice in  the bottle that I decided to keep it.

Voordat ik begonnen was met bloggen, had ik bijna de hele Kaleidoscope collectie compleet, op twee na. Ik heb er een aantal weggegeven omdat de kleuren niet bij me pasten. Ik heb er ook aan gedacht om It's My Turn weg te geven omdat de kleur niet opvallend genoeg was voor me, maar het zag er zo mooi uit in het flesje dat ik besloot om deze te houden.

Color
Warm, neutral gold with nice scattered holo. If the holo shows up less, it looks like a very boring 'office-friendly' gold, but in the sun it has a lovely glittery rainbow.

Kleur
Warme, neutrale gouden kleur met een mooie verspreide holo. Als je de holo niet goed ziet dan oogt deze lak vrij saai en geschikt voor op kantoor, maar als je in de zon staat dan zie je een mooie glitterende regenboog.

Application.
It's sheer, so it needs three coats, but every coat dries lightning fast! You can slap the three coats on and within half an hour you can scratch yout cat behind the ears without damaging your mani.

Applicatie
Het is een dun lakje, dus drie lagen heb je zeker nodig, maar die lagen drogen wel bliksemsnel! Je kan die drie lagen erop smeren en binnen een half uur kan je je kat alweer achter de oortjes krabbelen zonder je mani te verpesten.

The color gold is not really something I like very much, but the rainbow in this polish looks so pretty.

I really hope China Glaze makes another scattered holographic collection like this, only with bolder or darker colors. Then I'll buy the entire collection twice:-)

Deze kleur goud is niet iets wat ik heel mooi vind ofzo, maar die regenboog erin maakt alles goed.

Ik hoop echt dat China Glaze nog eens een keer een holografische collectie maakt zoals deze, maar dan met wat fellere of donkere kleuren. Dan koop ik die hele collectie twee keer :-)

Color Club - Fashion Addict, a pretty and subtle holo

Holo's are the best polishes for summer, no doubt about it, they look magical in the sunlight. Linear, scattered, subtle or flashy, I love them all! So when we had a few rays of sun I had to swatch this one. I've had it in my stash for so long, but somehow never got to show it here. Now I do and I hope you enjoy it!

Holo's zijn de beste lakjes in de zomer, zonder twijfel, ze zien er sprookjesachtig uit in het zonlicht. Welke soort dan ook, lineaire holo, verspreide holo, subtiel of super opvallend, ik vind ze allemaal geweldig! Dus toen we een paar stralen zon hadden, moest ik deze gewoon even swatchen. Deze lak staat al zo lang in de kast en om één of andere reden ben ik er nooit aan toe gekomen om 'm hier te laten zien. maar nu laat ik 'm zien en ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt.

Color
Lilac holographic. It's not a crazy holo, but more a subtle scattered holo. When the holo doesn't show up it looks like a metallic lilac.

Kleur
Lila holografisch. Het is geen waanzinnig opvallende holo, maar meer een subtiele verspreide holo. Als de holo niet goed te zien is lijkt dit meer op een lila metallic lak.

Application.
Great!!! No dragging, no streeks, very creamy and can be a onecoater.

Applicatie
Geweldig!!! Erg gelijkmatig, geen strepen, bijna romige lak en kan prima in één laag gedragen worden.

I almost feel bad about owning so much nice holo's and therefore not being able to wear this often. I think I only wore it twice and I've bought it almost two years ago, isn't that a shame for such a nice polish?

Ik voel me bijna schuldig dat ik zo veel mooie holo's heb en dat ik daarom deze lak niet zo vaak kan dragen. Ik denk dat ik deze pas twee keer gedragen heb en ik heb 'm al iets van twee jaar ofzo. Is dat nou niet zonde voor zo'n mooi lakje?

Nfu Oh 61 - a sunny holo to chase away this grey and rainy day

I already told you before how Holland has officially the worst summer this year. For real, it's even on the news and in the papers. Almost constant rain and grey skies, very little sun or proper daylight. I said almost, because when we did have some sun I swatched some holographic polishes! Unfortunately the sun disappeared soon, but the pictures of this holo look like a little bit of sunshine comes from the screen.

Ik heb al eerder geklaagd over het gebrek aan zon en daglicht deze zomer, het is gewoon een k*t zomer.
Maar toen er wel een paar goede stralen zon waren heb ik gelijk wat holo's geswatched! De zon is natuurlijk al lang weer weg, maar als ik naar deze foto's kijk dan is het wel net of er wat zon uit mn scherm komt stralen.

Color
Silver holo. You can see it's an holo in almost every light, but you get the best effect in full sunlight, then it's just insanely holographic!

Kleur
Zilveren holo. Het ziet er wel holografisch uit in ieder licht, maar je hebt het beste effect in de volle zon, dan is het echt woest holografisch!

Application
This can be a onecoater, but I did two just to get an even application.
As with almost every holo, application can be a bit tricky, you have to use a special base ( Gosh fix base of Nfu Oh Aqua base ) or no basecoat at all. Let every coat dry very well before you apply the next. It dries super quick.

Applicatie
Dit kan je prima dragen in één laag, maar ik deed er twee om het overal even goed gedekt te krijgen.
Zoals bij vrijwel alle holo's kan het wat lastig zijn met aanbrengen, je kan daarom een speciale basislak gebruiken ( Gosh Fix base of Nfu Oh Aqua base ) of je kan helemaal geen basislak gebruiken. Laat iedere laag goed drogen voordat je de volgende laag aanbrengt. Het droogt echt in een oogwenk.

On the picture below you can see the difference between the holographic effect in the bottle compared to the crazy holo effect on the nail.

We had alot of rain, thunder and lightning today, so I could use some sunny holo to brighten up my day.

Essence - Can't Cheat On Me ( a slightly holographic polish ) layered over blue

In my previous post I showed you Catrice Blue Cara Ciao, a regular blue polish that applied great, but the color didn't 'wow' me at all. So I decided to try out my Essence Can't Cheat On Me, a bottle that stood in my drawer of untrieds since the beginning of this year. I really need to swatch more often to go throught that drawer...

In mijn vorige post liet ik Catrice Blue Cara Ciao zien, een niet zo'n speciale blauwe lak die heel fijn lakt, maar waar ik verder niet zo van onder de indruk was. Daarom besloot ik Essence Can't Cheat On Me maar eens te gebruiken, die stond al sinds het begin van het jaar in mijn lade met ongebruikte lakjes. Ik moet echt wat meer gaan swatchen om mezelf door die la te werken...

Color
A silver polish that consist of the tiniest glittery pieces that have a slight holographic effect.
These pictures are made underneath a lamp because the sun just wouldn't come out ( what a crappy summer! ), I probably could have shown the holo better if there was some sunlight.

Kleur
Een zilver lakje dat bestaat uit de allerkleinste glitterende stukjes die een licht holografisch effect hebben.
Deze foto's zijn gemaakt onder de badkamer-spotjes omdat de zon weer eens niet tevoorschijn kwam ( wat een rot zomer dit! ), als er wel zon was geweest dan had je misschien wat meer holo gezien.

Application
Great, I hardly ever have problems with polishes of Essence Color&Go, they usually have perfect application and a nice brush. This was one coat over blue.
I used it as a topcoat, but you could wear it alone in one coat if you want a subtle shimmery effect on your nails or you can wear it opaque in three coats.

Applicatie
Geweldig, ik heb zelden iets te klagen over lakjes van Essence Color&Go, meestal lakken ze perfect en er zit een fijn borsteltje aan. Dit was één laagje over blauw.
Ik heb 'm hier dus als een topcoat gebruikt, maar je kan deze ook zonder basislak prima in één laagje dragen voor een subtiel maar glanzend effect of voor een dekkend resultaat in 3 laagjes.

Color Club - Revvvolution ( aka Black Holo Eyecandy)

Color Club Revvvolution came out two years ago, but it's still one of the best polishes Color Club ever made! I realised I never showed it on my blog eventhough I've worn it many times, just like it's sisters Wild at Heart and Fashion Addict, which I really must show you soon!
But now feast your eyes on Revvvolution:

Color Club Revvvolution is al twee jaar oud, maar het is nog steeds één van de beste lakjes die Color Club ooit gemaakt heeft! Ik besefte me dat ik deze nog nooit aan jullie heb laten zien terwijl ik 'm best wel vaak gedragen heb, net als zn zusjes Wild at Heart en Fashion addict die ik jullie ook echt snel een keertje moet laten zien. Maar nu kan je genieten van Revvvolution:

Color
Black, not jet black, but more soft looking due to all the amazing holographic particles in it. Because it's not deep black you can really wear this on any occasion. In the sun it's a rainbow over black, it's not an extreme holo as for instance a Nfu Oh holo. It's more subtle, but definately noticable. It's just perfection to me.

Kleur
Zwart, niet git zwart, maar het oogt veel zachter door alle holografische deeltjes die erin zitten. Omdat het niet super zwart is kan je deze lak alle gelegenheden dragen. In de zon is het een regenboog op een zwarte achtergrond, het is niet een hele extreme holo zoals een Nfu Oh. Het is wat meer subtiel, maar wel duidelijk zichtbaar. Deze lak is voor mij echt perfect.

Application
It's a onecoater and dries super fast. I'm wearing two coats so the ridges in my nails are not showing, but you get perfect coverage with one thin coat. This is a polish I wear when I'm in a hurry.

Appliactie
Met één laag ben je klaar en die laag droogt super snel. Ik draag hier twee lagen zodat de ribbels in mn nagels niet zo opvallen, maar met één dun laagje is het eigenlijk al helemaal perfect. Dit is een lak die ik draag als ik haast heb.

Holo's + summer are the perfect match. I usually don't wear darker colors in the summer, I like how the brighter colors look in the sun, but this black holo is just lovely in the summer. It looks classy and fun at the same time.

Holo's + zomer zijn echt de perfecte combinatie. Ik draag meestal geen donkere kleuren in de zomer, ik hou ervan hoe de fellere kleuren stralen in de zon, maar deze zwarte holo is echt leuk in de zomer. Het ziet er netjes en vrolijk uit tegelijk.

I don't own OPI's My Private Jet, but from what I've seen on other blogs I think that OPI MPJ is slightly more brown, less opaque and slightly less holographic. So if you missed out on that one you can always try to get a bottle of Revvvolution.

Ik heb OPI My Private Jet niet, maar van wat ik zie op andere blogs is die iets bruiner, wat minder dekkend en wat minder holografisch. Dus als je OPI MPJ niet hebt kunnen kopen dat kan je altijd properen een flesje Revvvolution te bemachtigen

China Glaze - Atlantis, a re-review

February 2010 in my second month of blogging I did a post on China Glaze Atlantis, I still took pictures with my cellphone because I didn't have a camera yet. When I was cleaning up my stash a few weeks ago I found it again and thought it needed a second review just because it's pretty and it deserves some bigger pictures.

Februari 2010 was de tweede maand waarin in blogde, ik had nog geen fotoetoestel en maakte nog foto's met mijn mobiel toen ik een post over China Glaze Atlantis deed. Toen ik laatst mn stash aan het opruimen was, vond ik ineens Atlantis weer en besloot dat deze mooie lak een tweede review verdiende gewoon omdat ik 'm mooi vind en dat deze wel wat grotere fotootjes verdient.

Color
Gorgeous teal jelly filled with alot of holographic glitter! Two of my favourite things in one polish!
Doesn't this look amazing? Ofcourse the holo is sooo much more visible in real life. I could stare at it all day :-)

Kleur
Prachtige groenblauwe jelly met een heleboel holografische glitters erin! Twee van mijn favoriete dingen in één lakje! Ohh ziet dit er niet geweldig uit? En dan is het in het echt nog veel meer holografisch. Ik kan er de hele dag wel naar kijken :-)

Application
I layered two coats Atlantis over 1 coat China Glaze Adore which is a metallic blue.
It's a jelly so you'll need at least 3 or 4 coats Atlantis if you don't layer it, but you'll probably still have VNL then. I don't think thats a bad thing with this polish, I've worn it several times like that.
My Altanis has been used alot and thinned alot, I need to thin it every time I use it, but if I do there is no problem at all and I love it!

Applicatie
Ik draag hier twee lagen Atlantis over één laag China Glaze Adore wat een metallic blauw is.
het is dus een jelly en als je het niet over een dekkende lak draagt moet je zeker 3 of 4 lagen Atlantis dragen voor een goed resultaat, maardan zie je nog wel van nagel er doorheen. Dat is helemaal niet erg, zelf heb ik het ook een aantal keren zo gedragen.
Mijn Atlatis is al vaak gebruikt en vaak verdund, iedere keer als ik 'm gebruik moet ik er een paar druppels verdunner in doen, maar dat is het enige probleem met deze lak, verder is 'ie helemaal geweldig.

 Most of you have seen this polish a million times, so if you are here and reading this, that must mean you love this polish as much as I do!

De meesten van jullie hebben deze lak al een miljoen keer gezien, dus als je hier nu bent en dit leest, dat betekent vast dat je net zo gek bent op deze lak als ik!

One of my favorite polishes ever: Chine Glaze DV8 !!! Shown with Konad.

When I bought this polish I didn't know it would be such a huge hype. I just bought it because it's a teal and there is a rainbow in it, how awesome is that! China Glaze really nailed it with this one.

Toen ik deze lak kocht had ik geen idee wat een enorme hype dit zou gaan worden. Ik kocht het gewoon omdat het een groenigblauwe kleur is en er een regenboog in zit, hoe gaaf is dat! China Glaze heeft echt zn stinkende best gedaan op deze lak.

Color
A blue teal with holographic effect that shows up really well in different kinds of lighting, but best in the sun. If the holo doesn't show it is still an amazing color with alot of depth in it because of the holo particles in it. Pure love in a bottle.

Kleur
Een blauwe turkoise kleur met een holografisch effect dat je heel goed ziet in verschillende soorten licht, maar het beste in de zon. Als de holo niet zichtbaar is dan is het nog steeds een prachtige kleur met een boel diepte erin door de holo deeltjes die erin zitten.

Application
It's a onecoater, but there can be terrible dragging if you apply more coats or use it over a regular basecoat. My solution is to layer it over a matching color ( in this case Adore ). DV8 is very opaque so it doesn't affect the color. Layering it also benefits the wear, I wore this for almost a week without chipping. And yes I use topcoat over my holos and I don't think it dulls te holo after the TC is dry.

Applicatie
Het is perfect in één laagje, maar bij een tweede laag kan je stukken van de eerste laag wegvegen, dat gebeurt ook als je het draagt over een normale basecoat. Mijn oplossing is om deze lak te dragen over een bijpassende nagellak (in mijn geval Adore ). Dv8 is erg dekkend dus de kleur ervan zal niet beïnvloed worden door de lak eronder. Als je deze lak over een andere lak draagt blijft je mani ook veel langer zitten, deze mani droeg ik vrijwel een week. En ja ik draag een topcoat over mijn holo's, ik vind niet dat het holo effect erdoor wordt afgezwakt als je TC helemaal is opgedroogd.

This is the mani I wore on Mothersday and for that day I decided it was a good occasion to use te jewel-images from Konad plate M77. I loved how they turned out and think these might be one of the nicest images I've tried so far!

Deze lak droeg ik ruim twee weken geleden met Moederdag en daarom heb ik er wat mooie juwelen op gestempeld van Konad plaat M77. Ik vind echt dat ze leuk gelukt zijn en dat dit misschien wel de leukste afbeeldingen zijn die ik tot nu toe geprobeerd heb!

One of the most sparkly holographic polishes ever: Nubar - Prize

I bought this polish recently on a blogsale from Deltacephei, I can't believe Suzanne would part from this one voluntarily, but I'm really glad she did! When I opened the enveloppe I couldn't believe how extremely glittery and holo this was. After picking my jaw off the floor I just turned the bottle round and round in the sunlight while stambling: "Look at this. Just look at this. LOOK AT THIS". And my love 'Eppie' was looking and even had to touch it and open the bottle to see this blindingly sparkly polish up close and he has never done that before! I had it standing on my table for a week just so I could constantly look at it when I was at home.

Ik heb dit lakje gekocht op een blogsale van Deltacephei. Ik kan gewoon niet geloven dat Suzanne hier vrijwillig afstand van heeft gedaan, maar ik ben oh zo blij dat ze het wel gedaan heeft. Toen ik de enveloppe openmaakte kon ik echt niet geloven hoe extreem stralend en holo deze lak is. Nadat ik mijn kaak van de grond gekrabt had heb ik het lakje eindeloos rond gedraaid in het zonlicht terwijl ik stamelde: "Kijk dan. Kijk nou toch. KIJK DAN." En mijn lief 'Eppie' keek niet alleen, maar moest deze lak zelfs even vasthouden en openmaken om deze verblindend glimmende lak met zijn eigen ogen van heel dichtbij te bekijken en zoiets heeft hij nog niet eerder gedaan! Deze lak stond daarna nog een week op tafel zodat ik het dehele tijd dat ik thuis was kon bekijken.

Color
Pinkish red with an insane amount of extremely holographic glitter in it!!!

Kleur
Roze rood met belachelijk veel extreem holografische glitters erin!!!

Application
Good, I used three coats on this swatch and it dried very fast.
Two coats could have been enough, but with the macroshot picures I showed some VNL.
Nice brush for a perfect application. It dried a bit gritty because of the glitters, so I had to use a thick coat of topcoat to make it  look smooth.

Appliatie
Goed, voor de swatch heb ik drie laagjes gebruikt die allemaal erg snel droogden.
Twee laagjes had ook gekund, maar met die macroshot foto's was er wat nagel doorheen te zien.
Het borsteltje is erg goed voor een nette applicatie. De lak droogt wat grof op door de glitters, dus ik heb er een lekker dik laagje topcoat overheen gedaan om het er glad uit te laten zien.

The only down side to this polish is that I just couldn't capture the insane amount holo glitter on camera. Believe me, these pictures don't even show half of the holo that's in there!!!

Het enige nadeel aan deze lak is dat ik het enorme aantaal felle holo glitters niet op de foto vast kon leggen.
Geloof me, op deze foto's zie je nog niet eens de helft van alle holo die erin zit!!!

A gorgeous bottleshot to end this post with. Here you can see better how much holo glitter is in there.

Again: It's so much better in real life.

And no that's not just the glitter that is stuck to the inside of the bottle, it's even better through the entire bottle!

The only thing that would make this polish even better was if it was a teal.... Nubar, can you please make that one next time?

En nee dit zijn geen glitters die aan de binnenkant van het flesje geplakt zitten, het is nog veel beter door het hele flesje heen!

Het enige wat dit lakje nog beter zou maken is als het groenblauw zou zijn...Nubar, wil je deze alsjeblieft in die kleur maken volgende keer?

Finally swatched: China Glaze - L8r G8r

I have alot of China Glaze holo's ( OMG & Kaleidoscope ) that have never been swatched by me. I love having them in my stash and love looking at them but unfortunately you need alot of sunlight to really enjoy them. Last week it was warm and sunny so I made some pictures of this green holo for you.

Ik heb best een boel China Glaze holo's ( OMG en Kaleidoscope ) die ik nog nooit geswatched heb. Ik ben echt gek op deze lakjes en ze zijn prachtig om naar te kijken, maar je hebt wel flink wat zonlicht nodig als je er wat mooie foto's van wil maken. Vorige week was het prachtig warm en zonnig weer dus heb ik een paar foto's gemaakt voor jullie van deze groene holo.

Color
Light lime green, with holographic rainbow effect.
The holo shows best in direct sunlight.

Kleur
Licht limoengroen, met holigrafische regenboog erin.
De holo is het best zichtbaar in direct zonlicht.

Application
Tricky, very tricky. Try not to go over the same space twice because you can get bald spots in the polish. Best is to place the strokes next to eachother without overlapping. I advise you not to use a regular basecoat because then the bald spots will be worse. You can use a special basecoat for holographic polishes or you can go commando under this holo, it makes the application much easier. Oh and it's opaque in one to two coats and dries suuuper fast. That's a plus.

Applicatie
Lastig, erg lastig. Probeer niet twee keer over dezelfde plek heen te lakken, want dan kan je kale plekken krijgen. Het beste kan je de banen lak naast elkaar plaatsen zonder overlap. Ik adviseer je om niet een normale basecoat te dragen onder deze lak, want dan worden de kale plekken veel erger. Je kan een speciale basislak gebruiken voor holografische lakken of je kan naakt gaan onder deze holo, dat maakt applicatie veel makkelijker. Oh ja, vergeet ik bijna te zeggen dat deze lak dekt in één tot twee lagen en suuuper snel droogt. Groot voordeel.

And ofcourse this wouldn't be a good review if I didn't show you how this polish looks most of the time when you are not in direct sunlight. So the pictures below show you how this polish looks in daylight, but not in direct sun.

En natuurlijk zou dit een waardeloze review zijn als ik je niet liet zien hoe deze lak eruit ziet als je niet in de volle zon staat. Dus de foto's hieronder zijn gemaakt bij daglicht, maar niet in directe zon.

Yes that's the downside of a holo: it looks a bit boring when the holo is not visible.

Ja dat is het nadeel van een holo; het ziet er best saai uit als de holo niet zichtbaar is.

This last picture is how the polish looks most of the time. A slightly visible holo rainbow that makes you want to run outside and find a ray of sun to admire the full effect in.

Deze laatste foto laat zien hoe deze lak er meestal uitziet. Een licht zichtbaar holo regenboog waarvan je keihard naar buiten wil rennen op zoek naar een straaltje zon om het volle effect in te gaan bewonderen.
